UI policy making phone number field read-only causes a "Phone number invalid" message when form is submitted.
Navigate to Incident > Open and select an incident. Create a new phone field called "u_test_phone". For more information, see the documentation topic Add a new field. Create a UI policy that makes the field read-only when the State is set to "in progress" (value: 2). For more information, see the documentation topic Create a UI policy. Create a new incident record and fill in the phone field with valid number and country. Press Ctrl + Shift to initiate the JavaScript executor. Enter the following code: g_form.setValue("state",2); g_form.setValue("impact","1"); g_form.save(); Instead of the form being saved because the phone field is already validated upon entry, a prompt appears that says Invalid phone number.
Ensure that no client-side process is making the phone number field read-only when the form is being submitted.
