The article describes the following issues: - Script Includes with duplicate names have been found to exist in the same application scope or across different packages: MidSettingsUtil (Package - Discovery Admin Workspace) RestStepMultipartUtil (Package - ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - REST) RestStepFormUrlEncodedUtil (Package - ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - REST) - These duplicates are Out-of-the-Box (OOB) and originate from different plugins such as: com.glide.hub.action_step.sse com.glide.hub.action_step.rest - The duplication has also been flagged in HealthScan reports. Steps to Reproduce 1. Log into the instance. 2. Navigate to Script Includes table (or apply this url): https://<instance>/now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/sys_script_include_list.do%3Fsysparm_query%3DnameINRestStepFormUrlEncodedUtil%252CRestStepMultipartUtil%252CMIDSettingsUtil%255Eactive%253Dtrue%255EGROUPBYname%26sysparm_first_row%3D1%26sysparm_view%3D Expected: These Script Includes are listed and are NOT duplicated: MidSettingsUtil RestStepMultipartUtil RestStepFormUrlEncodedUtil Actual: Above Script Includes are duplicated with identical names
A fix for duplicated Script Includes is in progress. Please subscribe to this article to be notified when the fix is available. There is no workaround and the presence of these duplicated out-of-the-box Script Includes does not affect functionality. If desired, the duplicate Script Includes for RestStepMultipartUtil (Package - ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - Server Sent Events) and RestStepFormUrlEncodedUtil (Package - ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - Server Sent Events) can be left alone or deleted. If choosing to delete, select the Script Includes associated with Package - ServiceNow IntegrationHub Action Step - Server Sent Events, as these are the ones that will be removed in the future fix when available. This can be determined by a) looking at the 'package' value associated with the record in the Script Include [sys_script_include] table or b) looking at the xml file on the script includes themselves. For HealthScan-Reported duplicates: 1. Verify the duplicate script includes are OOB and originate from different plugins with non-overlapping functionality. 2. Once the fix is available for this issue, apply it to resolve the health scan findings.
