Description

When localizing VA topics, the choices from dynamic choice will not be translated from sys_translated if user session language is different than requester_session_language in VA Steps to Reproduce create a topic with dynamic choice control having atleast two options install es language pack send requester_session_language as es the dynamic choice values are not translated even though sys_translated is available Workaround use script node in dynamic choice and use script to translate them into requestors language (function execute(table) { var options = []; //table to query here var gr = new GlideRecordSecure("question_choice"); // condition here gr.addEncodedQuery('active=true^numberSTARTSWITHINC001001'); gr.setLimit(10); gr.query(); while(gr.next()) { // gs.getMessageLang here options.push({ 'value': gr.getUniqueValue(), 'label': gs.getMessageLang(gr.getValue('short_description'), vaContext.getRequesterLang()) }); } return options; })(table)
