Following the Yokohama Upgrade, the walk-up queue is not displaying any users who checked in for any location. This issue arises because the explicit roles plugin adds the snc_internal role to the Walkup Rest API ACL. Since the walkup.login user has the snc_external role, the ACL disqualifies the walkup user and does not display any users in the queue. The Walkup Rest API ACL script checks for the walkup.login role but has no roles added. This issue affects only instances running on Yokohama patch version less than 3, with Explicit roles and Walk-up Experience plugins active.
Login to any instance on Yokohama below Patch 3 Install explicit roles plugin Create a walkup location queue with at least one interaction associated with it Impersonate to walkup user and navigate to walkup portal Select the location and click on Queue Notice the walkup user doesn't see the users in the queue where the user should be able to see the Opened For users of the associated interactions
This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section at the bottom of the KB to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to. If you are unable to upgrade to a fixed version at this time, please apply the below workaround. Note: Applying the workaround may cause these updated records to be marked as customized and appear in the skipped files for review during your next upgrade. Instead, we strongly recommend upgrading to a fixed version.
1) Please apply the update set (KB2046788_UpdateSet_walkup_acl.xml) on your affected instance to remediate the issue. 2) After you apply the update set, make sure the snc_internal role is deleted from Walk-Up API access for external users ACL. If the snc_internal role is not deleted through update set, make sure you delete it using the script (deleteACLRole.txt) attached. Summary of the update set: walkup.login role is added to the Walk-Up API access for external users to allow snc_external users to access Walkup API A new ACL Walk-Up API access for internal users is added to allow snc_internal users to access Walkup API New ACL is added to the 3 Rest Resources (Fetch Interactions, Fetch a single interaction and Fetch Appointments) FAQs Q: Does Yokohama Patch 3 includes Security fixes from Yokohama patch 1a? A: Yes, it includes.
