The MID server tries to grant permission using all possible fully qualified representations of a user without verifying if that representation is valid as per the environment configuration. When a given representation is not valid, we receive the warning: "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done." Steps to Reproduce 1. Change the MID service to run as "Local System" and restarted it 2. Stop the MID and grant the "domain\sysuser" account permissions to the agent directory otherwise it will fail the next step 3. Change the MID service to run as "domain\sysuser" and restart it 4. Now check MID server record on the instance. You will have the message under MID server issues: "WARNING: Skipping adding MIDHostname\sysuser : MIDHostname\sysuser: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done."
