The user with sam_admin cannot access "cmdb_sam_sw_name_mapping" table. According to the doc, the role required to access the cmdb_sam_sw_name_mapping table is "sam_admin" role. https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-it-service-management/page/product/software-asset-management2/task/t_CustomPatternSAMSAMF.html Steps to Reproduce 1. Grant sam_admin role to a user and impersonate that user. 2. Try to access cmdb_sam_sw_name_mapping table.
Create a table-level read ACL on the "cmdb_sam_sw_name_mapping" table and assign the appropriate roles to the ACL so that the user with the "sam_admin" role can access the table. See the attached screenshot as an example.
