This issue occurs when "I18N: Knowledge Management Internationalization Plugin v2" and Knowledge Management Advanced Installer is installed . When non admin user checks out an article , he is unable to map the parent article as the field "Translated from" is read only . Steps to Reproduce 1) install Human resources scoped App Core, any translation plugin. 2) Create Article under hr scoped knowledge base(Human Resources General Knowledge). 3) Create user with sn_hr_core.kb_writer role. 4) Impersonate with that user and check parent field [ ie Translated form] is read only.
