In Service Builder, when a user tries to create a new offering for a service, they will see a "Bad Request (400)" popup when submitting the new offering. The offering will also have a banner error "An exception occurred while submitting the producer." One of the variable sets, "Service Contracts M2M", has a dependency on the contract_rel_ci table, which is installed on all instances which have been zbooted with version New York or later, as part of Service Level Management - Contract Management Integration (com.snc.sla.contract2) - Plugin is part of glide-core - Plugin has flag "load=boot" which only auto-installs the plugin on zboot, leaving it an as optional install for upgrades
Prerequisite: - Upgrade a pre - New York instance to Rome or later family, compatible with Service Builder. 1) Open up Service Builder with a user that has the proper role (service_admin, service_author) 2) Create a new business or technical service 3) Fill out the appropriate details for the Details and Team tabs 4) Go to the Manage Offerings tab, and click on the "New" button in the offerings list 5) Fill out the details to create a new offering (minimum - add a name to the new offering) 6) Click "Save & Close" to submit and create a new offering No new offering is created, modal returns a "Bad Request (400)" with an error "An exception occured while submitting the producer."
This problem has been fixed. There is no workaround available. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
