In the Rome release, Dynamic Identification and Reconciliation Engine (Dynamic IRE) displays in the Application Navigator and Dynamic IRE tables (cmdb_dynamic_ire_feature, cmdb_dynamic_ire_filter, and cmdb_dynamic_ire_model) are visible for users with the ‘itil’ and ‘itil_admin’ role, even though the module is disabled by default. Dynamic IRE remains disabled and does not impact existing Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) functionality. ServiceNow Product Management will work with customers to enable this pilot feature on an individual basis, upon request.
In the Application Navigator, search for Dynamic IRE or scroll to Dynamic Identification. Note that Dynamic Identification displays.
ServiceNow has not identified a workaround for this issue, but a fix is scheduled for the next family release. We are also working to make the fix available through a backport.
