The "Knowledge Field Facet" clears the "Language" filter after a browser refresh. Steps to Reproduce 1. Install the ESC plugin (com.sn_hr_service_portal) 2. Create a new knowledge article with language = English 3. Modify the kb_search page widget /nav_to.do?uri=sp_page.do?sys_id=79e23a7ddbd6220099f93691f0b8f53c Instance: Language (Knowledge Language Facet) to Instance: Language (knowledge Field Facet) 4. Go to setting (gear icon) > Developer > Application > select Knowledge Management - Service Portal 5.Go to /esc portal and search for the KB article in step 2 /esc?id=kb_search&spa=1&query=test 6. Click Show Filters 7. Hold ctrl + right click onto the Language Field Facet > Instance Options Source Table = Knowledge Source Field = Language Facet Template = Multi-Select 8. Select English language in language Facet Note the Clear button appears on top. Note the URL: /esc?id=kb_search&spa=1&query=test&language=en 9. Refresh the browser page The language facet filter checkbox is cleared, and the Clear filter option disappears.
This problem has been fixed. There is no workaround available. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to.
