Due to Flow Designer usage, the sys_json_chunk can grow to a large amount of capacity. As a result, maintenance is needed to maintain capacity for the instance. This does not result in impact on the instance, but queries to this table can take longer than usual.
While this is not a defect, normal standard usage of flow designer over several years can have a sizable data output for sys_json_chunk.
As maintenance is recommended to keep the sys_json_chunk at a reasonable level, there are several methods introduced: Upgrading to Quebec Patch 9, Rome Patch 3, San Diego will introduce changes. Upgrading into these patched versions mentioned will introduce the following changes below: An update to the previous table cleaner. http://<instance>/nav_to.do?uri=sys_auto_flush.do?sys_id=369b357dc3b622002841b63b12d3ae0e This will remove error and cancelled contexts after 6 weeks. A new table cleaner is introduced. http://<instance>/nav_to.do?uri=sys_auto_flush.do?sys_id=7b85d58277663010b599e0490e5a9915 This will remove completed contexts after 2 weeks. Please note that this will override prior customizations to http://<instance>/nav_to.do?uri=sys_auto_flush.do?sys_id=369b357dc3b622002841b63b12d3ae0e To perform maintenance cleanup prior to these patched versions, please note sys_json_chunk CANNOT be cleaned up directly . If maintenance is considered to be performed, please follow the instructions in KB0854271 for more details.
