The issue is related to dynamic filter options and the role is not honored on the service portal but on native UI it is working as expected.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1.As an Admin, go to any OOB Paris instance and create a new record under Dynamic Filter Options (sys_filter_option_dynamic_list.do) /or can check with any OOB dynamic filter options present in the list 2. Add a name, Select reference table as sys_user and make sure that the roles field is set to Admin (or any other higher role that an ITIL user does not have on the instance) ref table: Sys_user Roles: Admin 3. impersonate the ITIL user and go to the incident.list from the native UI: Use the query builder to add this query: caller > Is Dynamic > (Check the options here) 4. Repeat the same on service portal: Impersonate itil user and go to : /sp?spa=1&table=incident&id=list (from the instance options, add the filter on the widget if not added already). In the filter, check for: caller > Is Dynamic > (Check the options here) Observed behavior: In step 3 (Native UI), the dynamic options do not include the filter created in step 2 (this is expected since the role needed is higher) In step 4(SP UI), the dynamic options do not honor the role restrictions defined on the sys_filter_option_dynamic_list record, shows up the filter created in step 2
