For the new Visual config builder, display value for the conditions are eagerly(proactively) evaluated and stored in the indicator cache as evaluating them is fairly a costly operation involving multiple DB calls. Indicator cache is flushed after every data collection to update the last_score_modified_at field. This field is important for the formula indicator evaluation. After the cache is flushed, the whole cache is rebuilt which takes lot of time hence causing the delay.
Here is a simple way to observe in OOTB Paris instance and it can be only verified in comparison with Orlando Add few conditions involving reference fields at indicator level Make sure there are few indicators with conditions Run the job Expected: Job should run in the same time (with minor variation depending on the load) as Orlando Actual: Job takes comparatively long time.
There is no workaround as the issue is a hard coded issue. PRB is fixed in PP1 Hot Fix 5, PP2 and onward.
