When an item view assigned to one screen is also assigned to that applet's embedded screen, selecting the Due Date field reverts after saving and reloading. The primary and embedded screen must have different item views in order to receive different field assignments. Steps to Reproduce 1- Install the ITSM Mobile plugin. 2- Load Studio > ITSM Mobile > Applets > Active Incidents. 3- Switch out Priority Selected Field Due Date. 4- Save. 5- Reload the frame. Note the Due Date is no longer selected, user updates do not persist after the change.
This problem has been fixed. If you are able to upgrade, review the Fixed In section to determine the latest version with a permanent fix your instance can be upgraded to. The workaround before Paris was the following: 1. Navigate to the item view that your applet is using (in the case of Active Critical Incidents that item view is named "Incidents Main Item View"). 2. Ensure that all mandatory fields are filled in correctly. 3. Change the name of the item view to something slightly different (i.e.: "Incidents Main Item View Clone"). 4. Right click on the gray toolbar to display a dropdown menu, and click on "Insert and Stay". This will copy the existing record with all its existing values. 5. Navigate to the embedded screen form ("Active Critical Incidents" with the class "sys_sg_form_screen"). 6. Update the "Header View" field to use your new item view ("Incidents Main Item View Clone"). 7. Save the record.
