The "Show Matching" functionality doesn't properly escape javascript, so that javascript code in the filtered field will give incorrect results.
Go to the Dictionary: sys_dictionary.list Add "reference qual" to your list view if it isn't already visible Search for "Starts with - javascript" in that column Right-click any value in that column and use "Show Matching" in the popup context menu No records will be returned. It is noted that same behavior is seen when using a simple list filter to find records with a specific javascript expression. The issue seems to be related to the escaping of the string when it contains "javascript:".
There is currently no valid workaround for this issue. Please contact Customer Support if you suspect you are running into this known Problem.
