The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 12.1.7. - May 28, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 12.1.7.. Fixed an issue where HIP redistribution to remote network nodes from external gateways resulted in a large amount of error messages in User-ID logs.
