The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.11 - May 06, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.11, 10.2.5. ( VM-Series firewalls in Microsoft Azure environments only ) Fixed an issue where the brdagent process stopped responding due to missed heartbeats, which caused the firewall to reboot. This occurred when the brdagent process and DPDK-managed ports became out of sync after the Azure infrastructure triggered a hotplug event.
