The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.2.13-h7 - July 15, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.14, 10.2.13-h7. Fixed an issue where sessions that were previously in sw-cut-through mode (software fast forwarding) and persisted after an HA failover were no longer subject to software fast forwarding, which led to increased dataplane CPU load after HA failover.
