The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.10 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 11.0.2, 10.2.3-h4, 10.1.10. Fixed an issue where the shard count displayed by the show log-collector-es-cluster health CLI command was higher than the recommended limit. The recommended limit can be calculated with the formula 20*heap-memory*no-of-data-nodes.
