The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.9 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.4, 11.0.1, 10.1.9. A commit option was enabled for Device Group and Template administrators after a password change. Fixed an issue where commit operations performed by a Device Group and Template administrator reverted the passwords of other users in the same role.
