The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.10-h1 - May 06, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.10-h1. A new CLI command debug log-receiver param-tuning syslog-threads to increase the number of processing threads for syslog forwarding up to 16 was added to address an issue where the syslog forwarding queue depth approached its limit and the drop count increased.
