The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.24 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 9.1.13, 8.1.24. Fixed an issue where restarting the devsrvr process caused new GlobalProtect connections to fail with the error message required client certificate not found . This issue occurred due to a key mismatch between the dataplane and the management plane.
