The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 9.1.13 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 9.1.13. Fixed an issue where timed-out DNS Security queries produced incorrect system log entries indicating cloud service connection refused . With this fix, timed-out queries are correctly logged as cloud query timeout .
