The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.14. Fixed an issue where images displayed through the Clientless VPN were corrupted. ( VM-Series firewalls only ) The non-blocking pattern match setting is enabled by default, which results in CTD performance degradation. Workaround: Manually disable the feature and improve performance by using the following CLI command: set system setting ctd nonblocking-pattern-match disable .
