The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.11 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.11. Fixed an issue where the firewall dropped TCP trace route traffic after you upgraded to PAN-OS 8.1.5. To leverage this fix, run the set session tcp-reject-diff-syn no CLI command.
