The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.7 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.7. Fixed an intermittent issue on a firewall where the log receiver leaked memory after 24 hours of runtime, which caused the firewall to stop responding.
