Any HPE Synergy Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Interconnect Link Module for HPE Synergy in High-Availability (HA) /Redundant configuration and running firmware version 1.0.1.1004 (or earlier).
To resolve the issue and prevent the HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module from being reset, perform the steps below to download and install Virtual Connect firmware 1.0.2.1006 (or later):Click the following linkwww.hpe.com/downloads/synergyDownload Synergy Software Release Set 3.00.20170417 (or later)Upload Synergy Custom Service Pack For ProLiant (SPP), which is included in the Synergy Software Release Set, to OneView and install FW using Logical Interconnect or Logical Enclosure UpdateOrClick the following link:http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/portal/site/hpscEnter a product name (e.g., "Virtual Connect SE 40Gb") in the text field under Enter a Product Name or Number and click Go.Select the appropriate product model from the Results list (if prompted).Click the "drivers, software & firmware" hyperlink under the Download Options tab.Select the system's specific operating system from the Operating Systems dropdown menu.Click the category Firmware - Blade Infrastructure.Select the release of the HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module firmware version 1.0.2.1006 or later.Click Download.Using Smart Update Manager, create a Custom Baseline SPPupload the Custom Baseline SPP to OneView and install firmware using Logical Interconnect or Logical Enclosure UpdateRECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES: Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HPE Subscriber's Choice.
