On a ProLiant WS460c Gen9 server blade configured with an AMD Fire Pro S7100X Graphics Card in a Multi-GPU configuration, running an Insight Diagnostics PCI-e LaneWidth test will cause the following error to occur:
Scope
Any ProLiant WS460c Gen9 server blade with an AMD Fire Pro S7100X in a multi-GPU configuration if the PCI-e Lanewidth test is run using HPE Insight Diagnostics Version 10.50.2007 from either of the following:
HPE Intelligent Provisioning 2.40
HPE Service Pack for ProLiant 2016.04.0
Resolution
The test should return the actual lanewidth of x8. The result, x16, is incorrect.
HPE Insight Diagnostics 10.60.2199, contained within the Service Pack for ProLiant 2017.10.1 will enable the PCI-e Lanewidth test to return the expected results.
