With all four NIC ports disabled, the system may enter a power savings mode. Occasionally, on reboot, there may not be enough time for the NIC to "wake up" resulting in the behavior mentioned in the Description section. As a workaround, to avoid this, either leave at least one NIC port enabled or disable C-states in the BIOS configuration. Intel Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU) version 2025.1 for Intel Xeon-E platforms resolves this issue.
