On any HPE platform running Firmware (FW) and Software Recipe for VMware ESXi 6.5 (or later), the following warning Message may display when there is a mismatch in the drivers, firmware and the offline bundle versions: WARNING: VmkMgmtSyncEventIoctl - unable to validate header in /var/log/vmkwarning.log This may occur after applying a newer HPE ESXi Offline Bundle for VMware ESXi 6.5 (or later) and not applying the matching Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) or the Synergy Service Pack (SSP), and the drivers specified in the HPE VMware Firmware and Software Recipe.
Any HPE platform running HPE Custom Images for VMware ESXi 6.5 (or later).
