If HPE Insight Management WBEM Providers 10.30.0.0, HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.0 or HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.1 are used: On any HPE ProLiant server, HPE Insight Management WBEM Providers version 10.30.0.0 will override the existing root\Interop namespace when installed, upgraded or uninstalled. On any HPE Integrity Superdome X platforms and options, after an upgrade, install or uninstall of HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.0/HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.1 will override the existing root\Interop namespace. This issue occurs because Hyper-V management software adds classes to the root\Interop namespace which will be deleted when the WBEM Providers are installed.
Any ProLiant server supported by HPE Insight Management WBEM Providers 10.30.0.0 or all HPE Integrity Superdome X platforms supported by HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.0/ HPE Mission Critical WBEM Providers 1.1.
Upgrade to the HPE Insight Management WBEM Providers Version 10.60.0.0 (or later) / Mission Critical WBEM Providers for Windows Server Version 1.4.0.0 (or later). Perform the following steps to obtain the latest version: Click the following link: http://h20566.www2.hpe.com/portal/site/hpsc Enter a product name (e.g., "ProLiant BL420c Gen8") in the text field under "Enter a Product Name or Number" and click Go. Click the "Get drivers, software & firmware" link on Download Options tab. Select the system's specific operating system (e.g., "Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2") from the Operating Systems drop-down menu. Select the category "Software - System Management." Locate, select to download and install the latest release. For hypervisors using WBEM Providers Version 10.60.0.0 (or later)/Mission Critical WBEM Providers for Windows Server Version 1.4.0.0 (or later), perform one of the following: Install the Hyper-V after downgrade/upgrade/fresh installation of the HPE WBEM Providers. This will not impact the Msvm_ classes under root\interop namespace. If Hyper-V is installed before downgrade/upgrade/fresh installation of HPE WBEM Providers, run "mofcomp %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsVirtualization.V2.mof" after installing HPE WBEM Providers. This will restore the Msvm_ classes under root\interop namespace that had been overwritten by HPE WBEM Providers.
