On some HPE XD230 ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers running System ROM U74 v1.80 or v1.82 with certain configurations listed in the scope section below, the following error will be displayed in the Integrated Management Log (IML) and Boot Screen although the configuration is valid with no actual error:545F - Hardware Installation Error - Cabling to OCP Slot B is not correctly installed. The OCP device functionality may be impaired. Action: Ensure OCP Slot B is installed with cable(s) connected in the correct locations. Please consult the User Guide for more information.Figure 1: Example errorThe Hardware Installation Error" message is displayed when an OCPB card is installed without the optional OCPB cable. The cable is optional, and the warning does not indicate an actual hardware issue.
