When performing a Virtual Media Insert Media action on HPE Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7), if the Virtual Media resource is queried immediately afterward, the "Inserted" property may report "false" because the mount operation may still be in progress.
Any HPE system with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7) firmware version 1.20 or later.
To accurately determine the Virtual Media mount status:Poll the VirtualMedia resource after performing InsertMedia operation.Check the "Status.State" property to monitor the actual mount progress and completion status.Avoid relying on the immediate value of the "Inserted" property, as it may not reflect the current state while the mount operation is in progress. The "Inserted" property will accurately reflect "true" once the mounting process has completed successfully.
