HPE has identified a condition where the "StorageDevice.1.2.BatteryOK" event may not be generated consistently in the iLO Integrated Management Log (IML) when the Energy Pack is reconnected to an HPE MR932i‑p storage controller. The issue is caused by a stale persistent "Battery OK" event entry, which blocks the actual event from being logged:
This issue affects the HPE MR932i-p x32 Lanes PCIe Gen5 SPDM Plug-in Storage Controller (P/N: P75697-B21) in HPE Gen11 and Gen12 platforms.
This issue is rare and has no functional impact on the controller. As a workaround, check if the Energy Pack status shows "Optimal" in StorCLI2 and the HPE MR Storage Administrator (MRSA).StorCLI2::HPE MR Storage Administrator (MRSA):This issue will be resolved in a future HPE MR932i-p storage controller firmware release. This document will be updated when more information is available.
