Installation of the HPE Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) utilities version 6.60.8.0 (or later) may fail on Windows systems when Windows Device Guard/Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) is enabled.NOTE: Earlier versions of SSA utilities may fail on Windows systems with Windows Device Guard/WDAC enabled due to an expired Windows code-signing certificate.

Install the updated HPE SSA packages that include non‑expired certificates:NOTE: The following versions contain renewed certificates and should resolve the certificate expiry issue. Download the packages from the official HPE Support portal and follow the product installation instructions for your platform.HPE Smart Storage Administrator version 6.60.8.0HPE Smart Storage Administrator CLI version 6.60.8.0HPE Smart Storage Administrator Diagnostic Utility (SSADU) CLI version 6.60.8.0As a workaround, HPE recommends updating the Device Guard/WDAC allowlist policies by adding the latest file hash values for the affected files.
