HPE OneView may incorrectly display the temperature reading of the Virtual Connect 100GB F32 Module as 174F, and this value never changes. The incorrect temperature reading can be seen on the OneView > Interconnects > Utilization section, as shown below.This issue is caused by an incorrect temperature sensor reading of the HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module.
In the scenario described above, any HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 modules for Synergy running firmware versions prior to 2.9.2.
To avoid this issue, update the Virtual Connect module firmware to version 2.9.2 (or later).Firmware version 2.9.2 has been included in HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2026.01.01.Information and details about these versions can be found at theHPE Synergy Software Releasespage.
