On HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen11 servers with SFF drives, fan speeds may increase excessively in relation to very minor increases in drive temperatures. When drive temps decrease, the fans will return to a more normal speed until the next time the temperature increases slightly. Users will observe significant fan noise oscillations as fans ramp up and down repeatedly.
