Any HPE Gen12 server with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7) and directly connected NVMe SSDs may take relatively more time to perform an update and may result in an error due to a timeout. As a result, a few of the NVMe drives may contain older firmware versions than other drives. When the issue occurs, a message similar to the following example will be reported in the iLO Event Log:"Firmware Update Error - Box <box>, Bay <bay> - NVMe firmware was not updated."
