The firmware information for the HPE NS204i controllers will not be visible when the AMD DMA Remapping settings have been enabled in the server's BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU). To find these settings, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Virtualization Options > AMD DMA Remapping.The visibility issue with the NS204i card information can be found from the System Configuration. The issue will appear as shown below, e.g., UEFI driver version as 0.0.0.0000 and the Firmware version as 0.0.0.0000 on the Controller Information Menu:

To correct this issue, perform a firmware upgrade to version 1.2.14.1022 (or later) for the NS204i controllers:Firmware Package - HPE Gen12 Boot Controller NS204i-u, HPE Gen11 Boot Controller NS204i-u, NS204i-d and HPE Gen10 Plus Boot Controller NS204i-p, NS204i-dAlthough this is a display issue only and does not impact the functionality of the system, to correct the issue and allow the controller firmware versions to be displayed, perform a firmware upgrade to version 1.2.14.1022 (or later) for the NS204i controllers.
