On HPE Gen11 platforms equipped with Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6), users may encounter a false "Unable to run component" error message on the deployment page of the Smart Update Manager (SUM). This occurs even though all components have been successfully updated.This issue typically affects components updated via the runtime agent or UEFI when using Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP/SSP).
Any HPE ProLiant/Synergy Gen11 servers running iLO 6 firmware version 1.70 or later.
The message can be safely ignored, as all components have actually been successfully updated.A fix is planned for a future release of the iLO 6 firmware. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
