An error message, "OneView encountered an unexpected problem while performing a power-cycle of the server" will appear on the server profile in HPE OneView. After a firmware flash completes, the server will not go to its original state (a powered off state).This may occur after a firmware update from the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2026.07.01 via HPE OneView. During the update initiated through OneView, a power cycle failure may cause an error at the completion of the update process. This error will result in the firmware update workflow being stopped and will prevent successful completion.

This issue is corrected by updating toROM Flash Firmware Package - System ROM for HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module (I46)Version 1.82_06-26-2026 (or later).As a workaround, power off the server and re-apply the server Profile.
