When performing a firmware and driver update on a Server Profile and the "Reinstall Components" option is selected in HPE OneView, the installation process may stall during the installation and show an "Installing" state. This may occur even though all components in the installation queue have been successfully deployed.This issue will only occur with the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) version SY-2025.05.01 on an HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module.
Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen12 Compute Module updated by HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) version SY-2025.05.01 when managed by HPE OneView versions 9.30 to 10.0.
When this issue occurs, reset the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) for the affected server and retry the firmware update.This issue will be fixed in a future version of HPE OneView. This advisory will be updated when additional information becomes available.
