On a system with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) Firmware Version 2.44 (or later), "CAPACITY VALUE " may display an incorrect value for physical drives in the Remote Insight Board Command Language (RIBCL) when Get_Embedded_Health.xml” script is used.
Example:
HPQLOCFG.exe -s <iLO_IP_Address> -f
Get_Embedded_Health.xml
The output may display an incorrect CAPCITY VALUE as shown below:
Scope
Any HPE system with iLO 5 firmware v2.44 (or later) using scripting to read the Capacity value.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, update to iLO 5 firmware v3.09 (or later).
As a workaround, run Rest API GET calls to the URI /redfish/v1/systems/{item}/smartstorage/arraycontrollers/{item}/diskdrives and check for "CapacityMiB" value.
