For any HPE Gen11 platforms using MRSA included in Intelligent Provisioning 4.31 (or earlier), users will be unable to save or download the serial output buffer logs to a physical USB drive. MRSA will display an "Action Successful" message; however, when selecting Download Support Log/Save File, no files will be saved/written to the USB drive, as shown below.

Scope

In the scenario described above, any HPE Gen11 platforms using MRSA included in Intelligent Provisioning 4.31 (or earlier).

Resolution

To avoid this issue, install Intelligent Provisioning 4.32 (or later). The Intelligent Provisioning user guide has been updated with the note shown below. VFAT, EXT4, and HPFS/NTFS/exFAT all work as file systems for the USB key.
