HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage systems shipped with HPE StoreEasy OS version 7.10.0d prevents the server from booting to the out-of-box-experience. Instead, the server will automatically boot the logon screen which prevents selecting the desired language during the initial server setup.

Resolution
There are three ways to resolve the issue: If an alternate language (other than English) is not required, contact HPE Support and a password will be provided to log on to the server. If one of the seven other supported languages is required, a quick restore (QR) must be performed. Supported languages are English, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Italian, French, and German. To perform the quick restore, download the image from the following location: Software Details - HPE_StoreEasy_1x70_WSS2022_IoT_ISO Once the quick restore ISO image has been downloaded, refer to the following release notes and follow the guide to recover the system: System recovery of an HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage If you have ordered the optional media kit (HPE StoreEasy 1X70 Recovery Software Media Kit with Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2022, part number S2A09A), then you can use this kit to perform the recovery process to restore the system.
