When HPE OneView for VMware vCenter is used with VMware vCenter 7.X.X, the SPP registration in HPE OneView Service Pack Management page of HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) or syncing updates in the vCenter Lifecycle Manager may fail.This issue arises when the total number of characters in an overall length of the SPP registration URL, including its path, exceeds the 256-character limit imposed by VMware vCenter 7.X.X.
Any version of HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) when used with VMware vCenter versions 7.X.X software for VMware ESXi 7.X host(s).
This issue is resolved in VMware vCenter 8.0 where the issue has been addressed.
