Info
If an update is performed on an HPE Nimble Storage device, HPE OneView will display a
locked alert message, for example:
"
The storage path with initiator '10:00:00:00:00:00:00:00' for volume
'AnyImg.H1' is missing both a required active and a standby controller
port.
"
Generally, these locked alerts and messages will clear after a refresh in OneView.
However, in some instances it will also result in server profile errors. If server
profiles errors occur, the profile will need to be unassigned and re-assigned.
Scope
HPE OneView versions 8.10, 8.20, 8.30, 8.40 or 8.50 with Nimble Storage Arrays.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in HPE OneView 8.60. To correct this issue for earlier OneView
versions, update to
OneView
8.60
(or later).
Two workarounds are available. Select and perform the appropriate workaround for
either the locked alert messages or the server profile error messages.
To clear the locked alerts, simply requires a refresh of the Nimble Storage
device in OneView.
To clear the server profile errors, un-assign then re-assign the server
profile for each affected server.
