On any HPE AMD-based ProLiant server, after replacing the processor, the following POST error will be logged: 163: Time and Date Not Set. 266: Non-Volatile Memory Corruption Detected. Configuration settings restored to defaults. If enabled, Secure Boot security settings may be lost. The system will report the events immediately after a processor replacement and the initial boot.

This is working as designed. On all AMD-based platforms, replacing a processor will result in a CMOS clear, causing the Time and Date previously configured to be reset. The user settings for the BIOS will not be lost. After a processor replacement, set the Date and Time in BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) as follows: From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Date and Time and press Enter.
