Info
An intrusion switch is installed on each Apollo 4200 Gen10 Plus, Alletra 4100 and
Alletra 4120 system and alerts are enabled in the BIOS by default. Regardless of whether
the server is powered on or off, an alert is added to the AHS logs when the hood/cover is
removed.
HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) will record this event in the Integrated Management
Log (IML)when the cover is removed, and the System Health LED will change to amber.
Closing the cover will clear the LED amber alert, but iLO will retain the cover alert in
the event log.
Scope
Any HPE Apollo 4200 Gen10 Plus, Alletra 4100 or Alletra 4120 System.
Resolution

of the
ID
field.
3: Select the Repair Tool, on the upper right next to the CSV ICON, and
Mark as Repaired
.
Repair Tool ICON:
This will change the event severity from yellow to green in the Severity field; see
figure 2 below.
Note: A user can disable the Intrusion logging via the UEFI setting, but this not
recommended.
This advisory will be updated if additional information becomes available.
