On an HPE system with an HPE Mellanox-based network adapter or Broadcom network adapter running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4 Errata Kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.11 (or later), the networking out-of-box rpm driver compiled against SLES15-SP4 GA Kernel release will fail to load and the networking interface will fail to bring up. This occurs because a change went into the maintenance kernel that added support for iWARP to devlink_param_generic_id. This change broke the kABI resulting in drivers built against the older kernel may return -EINVAL ("Invalid Argument") from devlink_params_register().
